Operating since 2012, this house features more than 30,000 lights, trees and other decorations synced to holiday songs—tune your radio to 107.5 FM for the full experience. Donations go to Nurture Our World. 1610 E. Hermosa Vista, Mesa. Thanksgiving – January 1, 6pm to 10 pm

The already spectacular Mesa Temple takes on new splendor with hundreds of thousands of lights and several nativity scenes spread around the grounds. Now – December 31, 5pm to 10pm Free

Head to Downtown Mesa as the city displays a four-story Holiday Tree and tens of thousands more lights. Plus, enjoy Santa’s Marketplace, a 4000 square foot ice rink, and Jack Frost’s Food Truck. Starting Now – January 5, 5pm to 10 pm, Free (Ice Skating is $10/hour)

The Desert Botanical Garden already offers one of the most beautiful landscapes in the Valley, but it gets even better during Las Noches de las Luminarias. In addition to thousands of twinkle lights on the grounds, volunteers put out 8000 luminary bags along the paths for a truly magical stroll. Weekends and other select days until December 31, 5:30pm to 9:30pm ($30 for adults, $12.50 for kids 3-12)

Prepare for an international light extravaganza as you tour luminous replicas of famous cities, landmarks, and animals from around the globe. Based on the 2000-year-old Lantern Festival, each of the 75 displays use traditional Chinese lantern techniques, plus cutting-edge light technology. Now through January 29 (Mondays-Thursdays 5pm to 10pm, Fridays 5pm to 11pm, Saturdays-Sundays 3pm to 11pm) Free for kids under 3, $24.99 for adults, $14.99 for kids 3-12

The Phoenix Zoo welcomes the holidays with millions of lights, a three-story lighted tree, hundreds of glimmering light displays, lakeside Music-in-Motion shows and more! Now until January 8, 5:30pm to 10:30pm nightly (Cost varies by day, check website before going)
